Kim Kyung-soon, one of the last surviving victims of imperial Japan's campaign of procuring sex slaves for soldiers during World War II, died on Saturday. She was 90.
Kim was the second victim who died this year. Her death reduces the number of living witnesses to the atrocity to 44.
The rightwing government in Tokyo is apparently banking on the prospect that they will all be dead before it is compelled to take full responsibility.
