Kim Magnus, Korea's hopeful in cross-country skiing for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, bagged his second gold medal at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway on Thursday.

Kim won the men's 10-km cross-country free race on Thursday. Last Saturday, he won his first medal at Lillehammer in the men's cross-country cross free event.

Cross-country skiing is like a marathon on snow; skiers compete over long courses with a mixture of flat sections and hilly areas.

Kim, born to a Norwegian father and a Korean mother, will represent Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
