Kia released the completely revamped version of the K7 sedan on Tuesday. The carmaker received over 7,500 pre-orders for the new model over the past two weeks.
The sedan features a roomier interior than its predecessor and comes with a premium audio system by the U.S. manufacturer Krell. It also has top-end safety features including blind spot sensors and an autonomous emergency braking system.
Despite the upgraded features, the new model fetches a similar price to its predecessor. The version with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine costs W30.9 million and the 2.2-liter diesel model costs W33.7 million (US$1=W1,206).
