The Shilla Stay business hotel on Jeju has given guests extra nights free as record snowfall grounded flights.
Some 200 rooms were let free between Saturday and Sunday.
The hotel is 3.5 km from Jeju International Airport and offers guests whose flights have been canceled due to bad weather a free night.
Airlines usually offer free hotel stays to passengers whose flights have been canceled, but this does not apply if they are grounded by bad weather.
A Shilla Stay staffer said, "We footed a W30 million bill for two days at between W150,000 to W200,000 per room, but the measure also secures loyal clients and increases customer satisfaction (US$1=W1,200)."
