Hyundai Motor chairman Chung Mong-koo has donated W15 billion to a fund proposed by President Park Geun-hye to create jobs for young people (US$1=W1,129).
Other Hyundai executives also donated W5 billion. Hyundai is the second big conglomerate after Samsung to chip into the fund.
A Hyundai spokesman on Sunday said Chung "empathizes with efforts to ease unemployment among young people and the need to enable them to be creative."
