Fine weather is forecast throughout Chuseok or Korean Thanksgiving from Saturday to Tuesday, and the biggest full moon of the year will likely be visible across the country on Sunday.
The Korea Meteorological Administration on Thursday said temperatures during the harvest moon will be at similar levels seen in previous years, with the day’s low at 16 to 18 degrees Celsius in Seoul and highs at 26 to 29 degrees.
Only the southern coastal region will be indirectly affected from Saturday to Monday by typhoon Dujuan, which is advancing northward from the sea south of Okinawa.
