Lee Jung-jae, star of the period espionage film "Assassination," will be "giving away" hugs at a cinema in the Lotte World Tower in Seoul at 8 p.m. on Friday.
The stunt makes good on his promise to hug the first 100 people to show up if the film sold more than 8.15 million tickets.
The film, which is on track to become one of the biggest box-office hits of the year, had drawn some 7.65 million viewers as of Wednesday and is expected to easily surpass Lee's required number on Friday.
