Dinosaurs are popular once again thanks to the recent release of "Jurassic World," and the Southern Sea Butterfly and Theme Park in Namhae, Gyeongsang Province, is a perfect destination for anyone interested in the creatures of ancient earth.

A model of a tyrannosaurus stands 13 m high at the main entrance, and just a short walk away is a red domed building that houses stuffed and live butterflies.

A small train can transport visitors through every nook and cranny so they don't miss out on any of the thousands of butterflies that call the park home. And the highlight comes in a greenhouse garden where live butterflies in beautiful colors flip their wings among flowers and plants.

A separate dinosaur exhibit can be accessed via the steps at the main gate. The animals seem to be alive as they make loud sounds and have moving heads and tails.

Visitors are sure to love the hands-on experiences. They can dig in soil for a few minutes and discover fossilized dinosaurs that are taller than adults. There are also opportunities to catch small fish than can be brought home as pets.

At night, the park is especially beautiful thanks to illumination by LED lamps that lure couples who are looking for a date spot.
