Korean Air chairman Cho Yang-ho has hinted that his daughter Cho Hyun-ah could be reinstated at the carrier despite shaming the carrier globally by throwing a tantrum on board and assaulting staff.

Cho Hyun-ah resigned all her posts at the carrier only six months ago and serves a two-year suspended sentence over her fit of "nut rage."

But her father, speaking at Paris-Le Bourget Airport, said his three children "all have their own expertise so I will focus on utilizing the specialties."

Cho is the oldest of the 66-year-old chairman's children. Her siblings, Cho Won-tae and Hyun-min, are also executives at the airline. The nut rage heiress had ironically been in charge of inflight service as well as hotel operations.

The chairman signed a memorandum of understanding for the acquisition of more than 100 new aircraft from Airbus and Boeing at the Paris Air Show.

He said his son Won-tae's attendance at the event aimed "to train him in the airline business."
