Park In-bee on Sunday guaranteed herself a place in the history of the U.S. LPGA Tour by winning the KPMG Women's PGA Championship for a third consecutive year. Park won the championship at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, New York, with a 19-under 273.

"It's one of my proudest achievements so far. I can't believe it, but it feels great to see a dream become reality," Park said. "I tried to stay confident. I've won three majors in a season, so I decided there's no reason I can't win the same major three years in a row."

With six major titles already, Park has surpassed the previous record of five set by Pak Se-ri, who pioneered Korean women's golf. "I never thought I'd move beyond legendary Pak, who accomplished great achievements in women's golf. But I think I still have a long way to go," Park said.

Park will return to her home in Las Vegas to take a rest with her family, and get ready for her next competition, the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, which kicks off next week.
