Park In-bee poses with her trophy after winning the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in Harrison, New York on Sunday.

Park In-bee won the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in Harrison, New York on Sunday, carding a 19-under 273 to claim the title for a third straight year.

Park became only the third person to win an LPGA major event three years in a row, after Patty Berg of the U.S., who won the Titleholders Championship for three straight years from 1937, and Sweden's Annika Sörenstam, who claimed the LPGA Championship from 2003 until 2005.

Park notched five birdies without a bogey in the fourth and final round of the KPMG Women's Championship to widen her lead over runner-up Kim Sei-young, who started the day two strokes behind Park, to five strokes.

Monday's victory was Park's sixth career major win (the most for a Korean player), her third title this season and her 15th on the tour. She also reclaimed the world's top ranking after relinquishing it for 20 weeks.

Formerly known as the LPGA Championship, the tournament was renamed the KPMG Women's PGA Championship this year.
