A man presumed to be North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's older brother Jong-chol has been spotted by a Japanese TV crew at a concert in London.

It was the first time Kim Jong-chol has been seen in public since Kim Jong-un took power.

The TBS TV crew videotaped the man attending a concert celebrating British rock veteran Eric Clapton's 70th birthday at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Wednesday.

A man believed to Kim Jong-chol is seen in this video grab from Japanese broadcaster TBS at an Eric Clapton concert in London on Wednesday.

TBS spotted the same man in Beijing and Moscow and is convinced that he is Kim Jong-chol.

He was wearing a T-shirt and a leather jacket and was accompanied by a young woman believed to be his girlfriend.

      Tickets cost 104-130 pounds.

Kim Jong-chol is an ardent fan of the aging rocker. In February 2011, a crew of Korean broadcaster KBS spotted him at a Clapton concert in Singapore.
