Hollywood blockbuster "Avengers: Age of Ultron" has attracted over 10 million viewers in Korea as of Sunday, in less than a month since its release on April 23.
It is the 15th film ever to achieve the feat in Korea, and fourth foreign film to do so.
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" reached the milestone in the shortest period ever for a foreign film, shattering the record of 39 days set by "Avatar" in 2009, and well ahead of 46 days by "Frozen" and 50 days by "Interstellar" set in 2014.
It remains to be seen whether the superhero film will be able to attract more spectators than "Avatar," which drew 13.3 million viewers.
