Police have tightened security around Cheong Wa Dae after a bomb threat by an anonymous caller. Police said the man called the civil affairs office five times on Sunday.
In one of the calls he said, "I will bomb the office by noon if you don't show willingness." It was unclear what he meant by "willingness." No explosives were found.
The caller ID showed the country code for France, and police are tracing the number.
Anti-terror officials say the man could be the same person who tweeted threats to bomb the private homes of President Park Geun-hye and her chief of staff Kim Ki-choon on Jan. 17.
The Twitter account belongs to a Korean man in his 20s who lives in France, and police in Seoul say they may ask to have him extradited.
