Ssangyong Motor started receiving pre-orders for its new compact sport utility vehicle Tivoli this week.
The compact SUV, to be released on Jan. 13, is Ssangyong's first new car in four years and is cheaper than other SUVs in a bid to appeal to young consumers who plan to buy their first car.

It is cheaper than Renault Samsung's QM3 and GM Korea's Chevrolet Trax.
The prices vary between W16 million and W24 million depending on specifications.
