Speed skater Lee Sang-hwa will donate the skate blades she wore when she won her second consecutive Olympic gold medal in the women's 500-m competition at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Lee's management agency BRION Company said Tuesday, "The Olympic Museum expressed its wish to display Lee's skates, and Lee gladly agreed to it."

"It's a great honor to see my skate blades displayed at the Olympic Museum, as the Olympics would be the most prestigious sporting event for any athlete," Lee said. "I'm happy that I can share my memorable moment with people who love sports."

The Olympic Museum was first opened in Lausanne in 1993 and has over 10,000 Olympic-related items on display, including medals, stamps, coins and torches from previous Olympic Games.

The 1988 Seoul Olympics mascot is also featured at the museum.
