It is hard enough to stay in shape, but with winter approaching the cold weather makes it even more difficult. In fact, winter is a good time to try to lose weight.
Despite being less active in winter, the body naturally increases metabolism in cold weather to generate heat. This process consumes more calories and in turn helps shake more pounds off in winter than in other seasons given you do the same amount of exercise.
A low calorie diet is a good way to lose weight if exercise is not an option, and eating an apple in the morning is highly recommended.
Apples are not only rich in vitamin A and C but stimulate bowel movements when eaten in the morning. The skin contains fiber and pectin which alleviates constipation.
