Thai Princess to Compete in Dressage at Asian Games

      Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana of Thailand will once again be taking part in the Asian Games.

      But the 27-year-old granddaughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who competed as a badminton player in the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, will represent Thailand in dressage in Incheon, the Bangkok Post reported.

      Her horse is called Prince Charming.

      Sirivannavari won a gold medal in the women's team event in badminton in the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in 2005 and was the only royal athlete to stay in the athletes' village in Doha in 2006.

      She is also a fashion designer.

      She learned dressage in France and represented Thailand at the SEA Games last year.
