Korea to Face Venezuela in Football Friendly

The Korean national football team, sitting 57th in FIFA rankings, is facing Venezuela, ranked 29th in the world, in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, at 8 p.m. on Friday.

Korea will have another friendly with Uruguay in Goyang, a satellite city located northwest of Seoul in Gyeonggi Province, at 8 p.m. on Monday. Uruguay is currently ranked sixth in the world.

Shin Tae-yong, an interim manager of the national football team, said in a press conference on Thursday "We will make up for the poor performance in the World Cup in Brazil this summer, and play aggressively" to win the matches.
