Budget carriers are scrambling to lure customers with bargain early-bird tickets.
Air Busan on Monday said it is offering discounts for flights departing in December. Domestic flights are discounted by up to 75 percent and international flights by up to 60 percent.
A one-way ticket between Busan and Jeju starts at W29,500, and a trip between Gimpo and Jeju at W29,000.
For international flights, a round trip between Busan and Fukuoka costs W146,600 and a Busan-Qingdao fare is W152,000.
Eastar Jet is selling discounted tickets until Sunday for flights from Gimpo, Cheongju and Gunsan to Jeju, departing from Nov. 1 to 30. Weekday one-way tickets start at W29,900 and weekend tickets from W30,900.
