Ryu Hyun-jin of the Los Angeles Dodgers is recovering quickly from a hip injury.
According to the MLB's website on Monday, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said that Ryu will "throw a bullpen on Tuesday, so he’s doing well. But we're not sure he's going to slot in."
On Aug. 14 in an away game against the Atlanta Braves, Ryu left the mound in the sixth inning after complaining of hip pain. Ryu went on the 15-day disabled list on Aug. 15 after a medical examination determined that he strained muscles in his right hip area.
The Los Angeles Times recently said that Ryu is likely to return on Saturday in a game against the San Diego Padres.
