Kungfu film star Jackie Chan has apologized for his son's arrest in China last week on drug charges.
In a blog post on Wednesday, the martial arts master said he was "enraged" and "disappointed" with son Jaycee Chan, 31.
"You've done something wrong and you have to be responsible for the consequences," Jackie Chan publicly wrote to his son.
Police in Beijing took the younger Chan into custody on Aug. 14, along with Taiwanese actor Kai Ko, also known as Ko Chen-tung. More than 100 grams of marijuana were found in Chan's home.
Chinese state news agency Xinhua reports he is charged with "accommodating suspected drug users."
According to Xinhua, drug-related arrests are up 72 percent over last year as officials crack down on dealers.
