Pak Se-ri Hopes to Help Nurture Young Golfers

Pak Se-ri signed an agreement with sponsor OK Savings Bank to host her namesake golf tournament, at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul on Tuesday.

The invitational will take place in the Solmoro Country Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, for three days starting Oct. 3.

"I hope to make this tournament something that will help nurture young Korean golfers," she said.

Pak had three top-10 finishes in the U.S. LPGA Tour this season. She is currently recovering from a shoulder injury she sustained during the Women's British Open last month, and she is scheduled to take part in the Evian Championship next month.
