Samsung Electronics is expected to unveil its latest flagship smartphone in Berlin next month.
German media was invited to the unveiling of Samsung's new gadgets, including the Galaxy Note 4, on Sept. 3 in Berlin, just one day before the IFA annual trade show for consumer electronics.
This follows the Korean tech giant's tradition of unveiling the Galaxy S series in February and March, and the Galaxy Note series immediately before the IFA.
Industry insiders expect the Galaxy Note 4 to come in two versions: one with a 5.7-inch high-definition display and the other with a curved display.
When it announced its second-quarter earnings, Samsung said it was preparing to release an innovative new model with a large display and another model using new material.
