Smartphone Bills in Seoul Lowest Among Global Cities

Some Koreans complain about sky-high smartphone bills. But they may change their minds when their rates are compared to other parts of the world.

A recent study by the Japanese government found that people living in Seoul have the lowest smartphone bills of those in seven of the world's major cities.

Seoul residents pay US$24 for 47 minutes of call service, 338 text messages and 500 megabytes of data. The same would cost $62 in London and New York, and $70 in Tokyo.
