Son Heung-min, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, is dating Min-ah of K-pop band Girls Day.
They were caught dating at night, according to an online website on Thursday. As a photo of the two walking hand-in-hand, which was taken in mid-July, was revealed, Min-ah's management agency admitted that rumors of the relationship are true, but it said that the two recently started dating and have met just twice so far.
Meanwhile, Son is set to meet fans here as the German club plays a friendly against FC Seoul at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Son and his teammates arrived in Korea on Tuesday. Players include Stefan Kießling, who scored the most goals in the 2012-13 season in the German league, Bernd Leno, Gonzalo Castro and Simon Rolfes.
Ryu Seung-woo, who joined the outfit on a one-year loan last December, is also here but can’t play in Wednesday's friendly. He has been barred from three matches following aggressive action during a practice match on Sunday.
