Spain emerged as a surprise winner of the inaugural International Crown, a new team event to determine the most powerful golfing nation in women's golf on the LPGA Tour.
Spain won all four singles matches on the final day of the event on Sunday at Caves Valley in Maryland.
Spain edged out Sweden to become the champion of the inaugural event. Sweden earned 11 points from five wins, one draw and four losses to finish second.
Korea, with two wins and two losses on the final day, tied for third place with Japan with 10 points. Korea had five wins and five losses, and Japan had four wins, two draws and four losses.
