'Sea Fog' Invited to Toronto Film Festival

"Sea Fog" has been invited to the 39th Toronto International Film Festival, which will kick off on Sept. 4.

It is the only Korean film to be shown in the Gala Presentation section of the largest film festival in North America this year.

Other Korean films have premiered in the same section, including "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" in 2008, "The Housemaid" in 2010 and "Cold Eyes" in 2013.

"Sea Fog" is about six sailors on a fishing vessel who end up getting involved in an uncontrollable turn of events as they smuggle illegal immigrants through heavy fog.

The film will be released in Korea on Aug. 13.
