Jeju Air said it has flown its 20 millionth passenger, becoming the first Korean budget carrier to achieve the feat eight years after its launch.
The carrier celebrated its millionth passenger in November 2007 and broke the 10-million mark in May 2012.
That averages out to an annual growth rate of 52 percent.
The carrier's fleet of planes has grown to 16 after starting out with just one.
A spokesman said Jeju Air is offering big discounts from Monday until Aug. 3 on four domestic flights scheduled in September and October. Some 2,000 seats will be available for just W24,900.
