Google has launched sales of Samsung Electronics' Gear smartwatch in Korea following the release of the device on June 26.
Sales were delayed in Korea and elsewhere due to a disagreement between the two companies.
The Gear Live runs Android Wear, Google's operating system for wearable devices, and is equipped with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.2 GHz processor and 4 GB memory chip. It also boasts a heart rate sensor and has anti-dust and waterproof features.
Users can configure Google Now to control some functions via voice commands, such as doing internet searches or sending messages. Gear Live is compatible with all smartphones with Android 4.3 or above except for the Galaxy series.
