With the referee for the upcoming Korea-Russia match all set, both nations might need to be a little more cautious during the 90 minutes of play early this week.
Nestor Pitana, an Argentine who became a FIFA referee in 2010, will be calling his first World Cup match in the Korea-Russia match on Tuesday. The 39-year-old is known for giving out a lot of cards.
In four World Cup qualification matches, he gave out 24 yellow cards. In the Argentinian League, he gave out 138 yellow cards in 26 matches -- averaging more than six cards per match.
