Samsung to Produce E-book Reader with U.S. Bookstore

Samsung Electronics has joined hands with U.S.' Barnes and Noble, the world's largest bookstore chain, to launch a new tablet PC specially designed for reading e-books.

The electronics maker announced on Thursday that the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook will hit the U.S. market in August and come with a 7-inch display.

The new tablet will feature the e-book reading app Nook by the bookstore chain. Barnes and Nobles, which has a digital collection of over 3 million books, will begin selling the device in its 700 outlets in the U.S. / Jun. 09, 2014 11:21 KST
