Su-zy of girl band miss A threw the ceremonial first pitch in a game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Dodgers' pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin caught the ball before it bounced, prompting Su-zy to raise her arms with joy.

The billboard at the stadium showed her cheering for the Dodgers.

Su-zy and Ryu first met on a TV show last November. In an interview, Ryu said he hoped she would come to one of his games to throw the first ball.

Ryu gave Su-zy a bubblehead doll made by the club as a gift before she stepped on the mound.

Other Dodgers players also showed much interest in her. Su-zy took pictures with Andre Ethier, Juan Uribe and Yasiel Puig.
