An advert denouncing the Korean government's handling of the ferry disaster last month that ran in the New York Times last week has now also appeared in the Washington Post.
The ad was crowdfunded among Koran expatriates in the U.S. via the website Missy USA, which is popular among immigrant Korean women.
The full-page black-and-white ad in the Washington Post appeared under the same headline "BRING THE TRUTH TO LIGHT." But the sub-headline has been slightly changed.
It repeats the call for "an immediate end to the violations of human rights, freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly for all Korean people."
