With the Olympic Council of Asia finishing its latest meeting of members, organizers of the Incheon Asian Games that will take place from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4 are expecting around 14,000 athletes and support personnel.
Some 17,918 people have signed up but given that about 20 percent of those who registered in advance dropped out of previous Games on average, the figure is expected to decrease to around 14,000.
Apart from North Korea, all of the 45 OCA members have finalized their lists of who they will send.
The North Korean Central News Agency said in January the country will send its football teams to the Asian Games.
