LG Electronics unveiled its new flagship tablet in three different sizes -- 7-, 8- and 10.1 inches -- on Monday.
The G Pad tablet with a 7-inch screen is a portable model equal in size to Apple's iPad Mini.
The tablet with a 10.1-inch screen is equipped with a high-capacity battery, making it suitable for those who want to watch videos for a long time on a bigger screen.
LG launched an 8.3-inch tablet last October, but the latest lineup suggests it is flagging its intention to compete with Samsung and Apple on a similar footing.
The new tablets are compatible with smartphones. Users can take phone calls on their tablets and send text messages to smartphones.
More details about the release dates of the tablets and prices will be available next month.
