The main stadium for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games that will take place from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4 opens to the public on Wednesday after three years of construction work. Some 2,000 people are expected to attend a dedication ceremony slated for Wednesday afternoon.

Built on a 632,000 sq.m. lot, the five-story stadium cost W490 billion (US$1=W1,031) and has a total floor area of 113,620 sq.m.
It will host the opening and closing ceremonies of this year's Asian Games as well as track and field events.
