LG will release its flagship G3 smartphone, a successor to the G2, in late May.
The electronics maker on Wednesday sent invitations to the press around the world to launch events in Seoul, Singapore and Turkey on May 28, and in New York, London and San Francisco on May 27.
The device comes with a 5.5-inch screen, 0.4 inches larger than Samsung's Galaxy S5, and offers images two times as clear as the latter, LG claims.
LG originally planned to launch the new gadget in August but brought the schedule forward amid a series of products from rivals debuting in the market.
