Lee Young-ae Remembers Victims During Hanbok Show with Cartier

Actress Lee Young-ae attended an event held to promote hanbok, or traditional Korean dress, in Hong Kong on Friday.

The mother of two canceled all her other public appearances in consideration of the victims of the ferry Sewol that sank off the southwest coast on April 16.

However she said it was harder to ax this one because it had been planned for the last year as a large jewelry event in collaboration with Cartier, with celebrities from as far afield as Paris and Switzerland invited.

Meanwhile, Lee wore a yellow ribbon to express her condolences to the victims and their families of the recent tragedy in a press interview with local reporters.
