Korean Motorized Bicycle Wins Princely Praise

Prince Albert II of Monaco had high praise for a Korean-made premium bicycle after he tried it at the Top Marques Monaco motor expo in Monte Carlo on April 17.

Developed by car part supplier Mando and sold by affiliate Halla Meister, the chainless bicycle comes with an electric motor so as to get up hills with little effort. It can drive 30 to 45 km on a single charge.

Dubbed "Footloose," it sells for a hefty 3,990 euros in Europe and around W4.5 million here (US$1=W1,035).
