Clothes and other products from at the joint-Korean Kaesong Industrial Complex will be marketed in South Korea and overseas under the brand name SISBRO.
The brand is a collaboration between seven textile manufacturers based in the complex and stands for "sister" and "brother," symbolizing the relationship between the two Koreas.
The firms will market men's jackets, dress shirts, jeans, underwear, socks and shoes under the SISBRO brand and expand it to outdoor goods.
The labels will feature the words "Made in Peace." An association of manufacturers in the Kaesong Industrial Complex plans to unveil the brand at an export fair at the KINTEX exhibition center in Ilsan north of Seoul on April 29.
