Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae stretched her medal-winning streak to eight World Cup events as she won two more trophies in Pesaro, Italy on Saturday. Son pocketed a silver in clubs with 18.000 points and a bronze in ball with 17.850 points.
Russia's Yana Kudryavtseva won both events with respective scores of 18.600 and 18.850 at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup series in Pesaro. Son finished fifth in hoop with 18.050 and the same in ribbon with 17.150 points.
She also finished fifth overall in Friday's individual all-around with 70.416 points. Kudryavtseva won it with a score of 74.616.
Son earned 18.100 in hoop, 17.400 in ball, 17.600 in clubs, and 17.316 in ribbon. Her scores were a little lower than her performance in Lisbon last week, where she won the individual all-around with 71.200 points.
The Pesaro World Cup event featured the world's top-ranked gymnasts including Kudryavtseva, Margarita Mamun, also of Russia, and Ukraine's Ganna Rizatdinova.
Son earned over 18 points for the first time this season in a single discipline by scoring 18.100 in hoop during the individual all-around.
