Ryu Hyun-jin Suffers Career-Worst Meltdown Against Giants

Los Angeles starter Ryu Hyun-jin suffered the first loss of the season with the worst performance of his career by giving up eight runs in two innings against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday. The game was played at home at Dodger Stadium.

Ryu threw 69 pitches before being replaced by Jose Dominguez in the third inning and the Dodgers ended up losing 8-4 to their bitterest rivals in the National League's Western Division.

The performance ended Ryu's scoreless streak of 12 innings and brought his ERA up to 3.86.
