Former Beatle Paul McCartney will stage his first concert in Korea. Part of Hyundai Card's "Super Concert" projects, it will be held at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul on May 28.
Liverpool-born McCartney formed the Beatles with John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, whose debut album "Please Please Me" came out in 1963. He composed many of the Beatles' legendary songs along with Lennon.
McCartney continued his music career as a member of another band called Wings and as a solo artist after the Beatles broke up in 1970. He also released an electronic album and composed classical music. Last year he released his latest album entitled simply "New."
The Seoul concert is part of his world tour that started in Brazil last year and has been staged in 23 cities in Europe, Japan and South America. He will perform hit songs from the Beatles as well as from his new album.
