Actor Lee Byung-hun has been cast in "Terminator: Genisys," the latest installment of the Hollywood blockbuster series.
Lee has previously appeared in such Hollywood hits as "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and "Red 2."
His agency BH Entertainment said on Tuesday, "Lee signed up to join the cast in February and filming will start in May." But it has not yet been revealed which role he will play.
The movie, which is being produced by Skydance and Paramount, is the fifth in the classic Terminator series that first captured people's imaginations decades ago with the casting of star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"Genisys" is the first installment of a reboot trilogy.
Schwarzenegger, who skipped the fourth movie because he was serving as the governor of California, will be back in the lead role. The film is scheduled to be released next year.
