The Korea International Trade Association announced on Monday it will open an online shop targeting consumers overseas and is inviting companies to sell their products there.
Visitors to the website (kmall24.com) can shop in English, Chinese and Japanese.
The association will accept applications until April 11 and then select around 100 firms whose products appeal to foreign consumers, particularly those related to Korean pop culture.
The selected products will also be made available on eBay and Amazon, the association said.
Kmall24 is intended to bolster the overseas retail channels of small and medium-sized enterprises.
