A woman has been arrested for blackmailing Park Yu-chun of boy band JYJ.
The 30-year-old found a phone Park's acquaintance had lost in the street and threatened to circulate compromising pictures and text messages saved on it unless Park paid her W100 million (US$1=W1,065).
Police in Seoul on Tuesday said the case of the woman, identified by her surname Kim is now in the hands of prosecutors.
Park's agency C-JeS Entertainment apparently agonized whether to call the police. Park currently appears as a body guard in SBS TV drama "Three Days."
