Dry weather advisories have been issued throughout the country. March and April are the driest months in Korea, with humidity levels at around 50 percent. Daegu is looking much drier with levels down to 19 percent.
Nationwide showers are forecast on Wednesday and may continue through Thursday in some regions to potentially offset some of the dry air.
After the showers, no cold snaps are forecast, but the mercury will continue to race up and down from day to night.
