A total of 27 athletes and 30 officials representing the Korean delegation entered the athletes’ village for the 2014 Sochi Winter Paralympics after arriving in Sochi, Russia on Sunday.
Team Korea will have a welcoming ceremony at the village's Mountain Cluster on Tuesday. The opening ceremony of the Games will take place at Fisht Stadium on Saturday featuring 1,200 participants from 50 countries.
Korean athletes will compete in the four disciplines of alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, wheelchair curling and ice sledge hockey. Korea is aiming to win a medal for the second straight games after first doing so in Vancouver four years ago, where it finished 18th among 45 nations by winning a silver medal in wheelchair curling.
Korea is also in contention for a spot on the podium in ice sledge hockey.
