Son Yeon-jae Bags Three Bronze Medals at Moscow GP

Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae grabbed three bronze medals at this season's first competition with her new programs.

She ranked third with 17.516 points in hoop at the Moscow Grand Prix on Sunday after Russia's Margarita Mamun (18.766 points) and Yana Kudryavtseva (18.383).

Son also collected a bronze in club with 17.816 points, following Mamun (18.900) and Kudryavtseva (18.883).

Another bronze came from ribbon, in which she received 17.766 points. Maria Titova of Russia pocketed a gold in the discipline with 18.750, trailing Mamun with 18.000. Son ranked fourth in ball with 17.633.

It is the first time for Son to pick up three medals at an international event except for the Asian Championships.
